Owner and Principal, Martin Polutranko set forth to create a design experience for you that is enjoyable, fun and rewarding.

Custom Home Design with a difference means, we combine decades of artistic creativity and construction knowledge together in a seamless process. 

Knowing how to draw or use a computer program is one thing, having the real world experience in construction is another. The magic happens when you combine the two together, we are able to put your dreams and vision on paper that can actually be built.

Design and construction have been in Martin's life from early on. From designing small cabin's as a child to drawing elaborate estate homes, this has captured a wealth of knowledge within the home design industry.

The son of a master carpenter Martin learned multiple aspects of construction from his father; framing, general carpentry and fine finish work. This construction knowledge is a valuable asset throughout the design process. 

Custom home design continues to evolve over time. With changing building codes, new construction methods, modern building products, new energy compliance requirements, we consistantly stay current within all aspects of new home design and related changes in our industry.  

With 30+ years experience in the new home construction field, hundreds of designs and a multitude of award wins and nominations, the motto has always been to "Better your Best" and the best is yet to come!

In today's world of high speed internet, Zoom meetings, Screen sharing and other online collaboration programs, all of the physical boundaries are removed.  Having designed custom homes across Canada, Southern USA, and Mexico, it is with this technology that makes it possible to create beautiful designs from anywhere in the world while maintaining constant contact with you.
